Capodimonte Park
Capodimonte Park is the largest green area of the city of Naples

Covering an area of 134 hectares. It has extensive prairies, hills dissected by small streams and areas rich in caves, a feature typical of the Neapolitan.

The area adjacent to the Museum of Capodimonte is characterized by extensive lawns with various plant species. In this area, in addition to the palace, there are several buildings, mostly built in 700: the Casino dei Principi, the Palace palace, the stables and the Church of San Gennaro Ferdinando Sanfelice. Beyond the Porta di Mezzo, you enter the park proper, with five main avenues that have different forks and branches, for a total number of over 100 paths and trails. The five lanes beginning in a large square in which there are several eighteenth century statues.
